You had to go and kill off My favorite character? Really, Why would you do that? I’m so mad yet i still love you damn it! This is like an abusive relationship! You’re taking away the things i love the most yet i still cling to you!

Like Feldt I’ll still live on for you Lockon! Seriously he’s been my favorite character this entire time!

So many much awesomeness packed into one character, it’s hard not to like him!

Long hair, Sniper ability, awesome looking gundam, IRISH! Ok maybe the Irish thing is more of since my Boyfriend is Irish so now I’m obligated to like Irish guys

But seriously, even when he lost an Eye i still loved him. So what if he can’t Snipe the enemy from long distances, he’s still pretty darn smexy…

Those aren’t the only reasons i like him. But even if there were no reasons, by process of elimination he’d be #1 anyways…

Setsuna F Seiei - He’s not only too young but as we saw with his reaction to Nena kissing him, he has no interest in women. Unless they are dressed like this, then maybe he’d be much more interested… Only thing he has going for him is Mamoru Miyano. But a good seiyuu doesn’t always save a character.

Allelujah Haptism - OK, well he’s kinda cute too but the over the eye emo hair has to go! But then he’s also got serious negative points for having a kill crazy split personality.

Tieria Erde - He’s just too girly for me. Yeah i know his character isn’t that girly, but come on! Purple hair, crying over Lockon getting hurt and the little pink cardigan doesn’t make him very manly…

I guess the only thing left to do is hope that Sunrise pulls a Sunrise and somehow brings him back from the dead! Even a Bionic Lockon would still be freaking sweet! Or do like they did in beerfest, bring back his Identical twin brother who taught him everything he knows, but is much better.

ZOMG EDIT!: So i wrote this right after i saw Episode 24, and I started watching Ep 25 just now. OMG Allelujah is how now with his hair away from his face!

I’ve been seeing these dolls around for some time. At first i didn’t like them at all, i don’t really like joints and the eyes bugged me. But then i saw a few other brands and i think I’m in love. I need one of these dolls.

I knew of dolfies, and i don’t like them much, the eyes are huge and kinda scary and the dolls are pretty large on top of that. Plus the kinda people who I’ve seen with them are kinda scary.

Not that all dolfie owners are terrifying. But the majority of people I’ve seen with them are fat yaoi fan girls who carry their dolls around with them and talk to their dolls. You see them a lot at Conventions, and if you haven’t trust me they are scary…

But there is something about these Azone Pure Neemo Dolls and intrigues me. Not only their innocent faces, but the clothing, the hair and the adorable poses i always see them in.

After a bit of research i found where i can get one but for 10,000 yen, it’s not very cheap. Plus with so many figure pre-orders that i have out i wonder if i can afford one of these dolls.

I found a super cute one that is similar to this one with a gun. I was recommended that i would need a separate body if i want to do cute poses but those aren’t really expensive. But all together with shipping it’ll cost me around 15,630 yen. Am i willing to shell out that much money for one doll? for that amount i could get like 3-4 figures. I’m really torn up on whether or not i should get her. Plus I’m worried that what if i really like it and i end up spending even more money on these dolls + figures. The one i want is still in stock but i hear they go by quickly so I’m not linking it in case one someone sees it and buys it ^_^. But it all depends i guess on my next paycheck and how well i can save my monies till then. If i have enough for her and for the figure orders then maybe, just maybe I’ll get her! (or if more people clicked the ads id for sure be able to afford her ^_^)

But do you have any of these dolls? What are some tips you’d recommend to a newbie? Is Azone a good brand? I aways try and help people who are new to figure collecting and since I’m new to this I’ll take all the advice i can get! Oh and if you’re a fat yaoi fan girl who talks to their dolfie, sorry but you need to lighten up creepo, you’re scaring the kids…

While her name may be Mask Croissant we all know and love her be her real name, Ringo. Out of more boredom and photography experimentation i bring another review. This time it’s bandai’s Otome-Dama Croissant Mask.

This another one of my Boyfriend’s figures that i acquired. I did complain about not getting free figures but then technically i did get many from him.

Ringo was a character we both liked in the air gear series. So when this figure was announced he jumped and pre-ordered her.

I don’t own any other Bandai figures other than Gashapons so i don’t really have much to compare her to.

What a nice view from over here.

I don’t like the glasses much, they sit awkwardly on her face and make her look a bit cross eyed.

It is possible to remove them but then you are left with a mark on her face where the glasses rest and parts in her hair where the glasses are held on.

The cape is also removable but it makes her neck looks a bit awkward as well.

But at least she has a nice ass.

Ringo here isn’t a bad figure, but at the same time there is no reason to run and get her. There are some hiccups in her paint, on her body it looks like there were some stray hairs on the paint that were later removed… A few blemishes on her legs and air trecks. the hair line isn’t really done well and has a noticeable gap. Her hands are the worst, the gloves look like a shakey person painted them with their eyes closed. But the thing i hate the most about this figure is her base. Instead of most bases where the pegs are in the base and maybe with luck the figure doesn’t even need the base. The pegs are on her air trecks, and even then she doesn’t even fit into the base all the way, she’s wobbly and falls off constantly. Now those are my complaints, on the plus side it’s an interesting and fun pose. Ok thats it, just the pose is good. But i’m not rushing to sell her off, not because her pose is so awesome that it makes up for it. But for the fact that i like the character. But if it weren’t for that she’s be long gone by now.

I’ve been wanting a Dakimakura for a long time now. But the hard part is that my parents are awesome and accepting of me collecting figures. They are fine with me having the one Full Metal Panic wall scroll with the two nude girls. But i honestly think they would get worried if i had a half naked girl laying on my bed…

I have this as a wall scroll in my room and my mom was at first like “Why are they naked?” It’s kinda hard to explain open air baths to my mom and why it’s not porn but “art”

But i saw a post on Danny Choo from the member news that talks about Custom Dakimakuras. Now thats is something i’ve been interested in for a while now. So i’m really glad i saw this guy’s Ebay store and was able to order a Custom Dakimakura through him. I should be getting it within a month or so and since it’s one sided it only cost me $45! Which is amazing since I’ve stated to many people that I’d pay upwards of $100 to have my own Kamina Dakimakura. Once i do get it expect a full review and a very happy Dancing Queen.

So once again on with more Figure pictures. A bit of personal life info… My boyfriend moved back to New York last Tuesday, so I’ve been bored a lot lately. So since i have plenty of extra time on my hands expect lots more figure shoots/reviews since i’ll have plenty of time to sit here and take pictures…

I bought this Haruhi a while back when i had more money at my disposal. Lately i don’t have $160+ to spend on one figure.

No one can deny that this is an amazing looking figure, Look at that rack!

I think one of the things i love about this figure is her stockings. Even the line on the back, I like little detail like that.

She also does happen to have a very nice backside as well.

Another thing i love is the base, the checkered pattern really does bring out something special for this figure.

Her Face is as well another feature that is to be admired. It’s spot on and looks exactly like Haruhi.

Love how they also put strings on the guitar, sadly i dropped it once and there is a part that the paint chipped off.

While i do adore this figure and she’s one of my favorites out of my entire collection there were far too many problems that i had to deal with when i purchased her. First off she arrived broken and then started to lean. It was a hassle to send her back and get a new one, and even when i did get a new one she still was broken. Plus while the quality is amazing, the price is a bit too high and there are places where the quality lacks. Her hands are missing some paint, the shading near her armpits is a bit too much. It was impossible to get her ribbons in and make them looks nice. Plus lately I’m noticing things breaking off and paint chips, things that i don’t experience with a PVC figure. In case you didn’t realize it before yes this is a resin kit… Like there are parts on the guitar that happen to be breaking now. It’s hard for me to say whether or not this figure is good. I paid so much money for the damn thing i want to think it’s the best figure there is and i did say that it’s a favorite. But at the same time i paid SO much for the damn thing I’m disappointed in it’s quality.

Now this was my experience with E2046 a while ago, i haven’t bought anything from them since lack of money but in all honesty they could be much better now in terms of quality and service so don’t use my complaints as a justification on to not buy from them. They are a good site for figure that you MUST have that no one is making PVC figures of. But If say a company such as Max Factory, Good Smile Company or Alter are making a figure and E2046 is making the same figure. Save yourself time and money and go with the PVC instead.

I was going through my hard drive today and noticed that i had a file named “Sakura at the beach”. I was curious and opened it and discovered these pictures! I had taken these when i did the Tessa/Chidori Shoot and was planning on posting them at a later time but i guess it totally slipped my mind.

I’ve had Sakura for a while now and originally she wasn’t even mine. She belonged to my boyfriend and was one of the first figures he bought with his own money. But after an incident with the cats i felt the figures were much much safer with me than with him.

Sakura has one of the nicest backsides of my figures.

The reason i took at the figures was his first figure was the Max Factory Etna which i bought him as a present was chewed up by my cat lucky. He had wanted a cat and conned me into it since the one kitten at the store was ADORABLE! So we took her home but i later caught her chewing on Etna’s Hair.

Since then he’s not allowed to have figures in his house unless he can get some form of storage that protect them from the cats. But he doesn’t mind since he’s moved on from figures to Gundam Models.

I remember doing this shoot, I had surprised my boyfriend by taking the day off work and telling him we were going to the beach. I packed up the figures and surprised him once we got there with them. He was SOOOO embarrassed and walked as far away from me as he could.

At first i was even nervous about taking the figures outside so i didn’t mind him walking away, but after a while the nervousness went away. People would stop and look, but they didn’t really say anything. I was scared mostly of people coming to taunt me or kick sand, but people were really nice and some stopped to even ask me what i as doing this for.

After a while my boyfriend came back and we hung out at the beach for the rest of the day, but the figures had to go back in the car since i didn’t want the sand scratching them up.

Even thought she wasn’t my initial purchase i really do like this figure, she’s really well made and really sexy as well. If your a fan of Sakura or a fan of Sexy girls in bikinis then she’s a figure to get. It’s typical Kotobukiya work, not top quality but still good. But her skin is a bit shiny and she has a few seam lines that are noticeable. But not so bad that would deter someone from buying her. My only complaint is that her swimsuit top’s strap in the back isn’t painted right and there is a part that overlaps and looks bad but it’s in the back and it might only be mine. But other than that she’s really awesome!

the moment i laid eyes on this Nendoroid i knew i had to have her, but one thing was in the way at the time. The Price! Sumomo here is a limited edition bundle that comes with the Nantsuiro Drops DS game. Since she came bundled with the game her asking price was $79 not including shipping costs. I had to say no, i may have loved her but $79 seemed way too much for a nendoroid and a game i’d never play.

Lucky Me, I found a sale on play-asia. She was on sale for $49 and since she was so cute and i knew i might be able to sell the game and re-coupe some money i went for it and ordered her!

She really is adorable!

Also today i tried my first ever white background for this shoot, i really need better lamps. I had 4 lamps on her but it still didn’t come out perfectly and some look pink or purple…

Even though the background didn’t come out perfect i really like it and am proud of these pictures!

see how this picture is more white/yellow than pink like the others, i have lots to learn but i do know that i need much better lamps.

Sleeping Sumomo is just awesome! She just looks so peaceful and comfy!

It is however impossible to get her to look comfy while sleeping on her back…

Overall she is adorable, I am a fan of the series so i just had to get her but if you’re not familiar with the show/game then I wouldn’t really see of a reason to get her other than her being cute. Since she’s pretty expensive and since the sale is over on Play-Asia i doubt it’ll be easy find her for a reasonable price. Oh and while i was very apprehensive with my Play-Asia order, it arrived in a timely manner and was packaged quite well. I doubt i’ll be running to them to place more orders but i will most likely keep an eye on their site when Limited Edition Figures are released.

Stumbled Upon Riuva’s Figure bazaar once i got home today and was amazed at some of these amazing figures for sale and for cheap! Originally they had up 60 figures for sale but i jumped at the chance to own this figure and bought her on a bit of an impulse, but I’ve been dying for this Hagumi figure for about FOREVER so I’m excited to get her! Check out what they’ve still got for sale, shipping is a bit expensive but the uber low prices of the figures counter balances it out and they still end up being a great deal!

I have no reason to be receiving free figures really. But that doesn’t mean that i don’t think it would be awesome to get some!

I’m always reading posts like this about how Danny Choo keeps getting Free Figures. It really reminds me of how Hollywood works. The Stars get so much free stuff it’s crazy, since if say Angelina Jolie uses a product you’ll have a mass of people who want to be like her and run out and buy said product. It’s really the same thing, there are plenty of people who depend on Danny’s reviews to decide on whether or not they’ll buy the figure or not. I will fully admit there have a been a few times I’ve seen a figure or two on Danny Choo and realized that it was awesome and that i must get my hands on it as well. Part of me wishes that i could get free figures as well. (wink ^_~ wink kid nemo) But really my hits don’t even stack up to Danny Choo’s site, or other figure sites really. My pictures aren’t as great as I’d like them to be . You can see the difference in quality here, this is my Shana photo shoot and here is Mukyaa.com’s shoot. His is so much better! I will admit that I’m still learning and have lots to learn. I need a better camera, better lighting and I’m going to be taking photography classes this fall so hopefully there will be some improvement. Plus seeing this makes me really wish i spoke Japaneses. Maybe i should call my boss and offer that they only pay me in figures… I’d work 10X harder thats for sure! Really this is me bitching about not being good enough to get free figures, but this doesn’t mean that I’m going to keep bitching about it. This only means i need to work much harder on my own photos and work on my content! Then maybe I’ll be cool enough for free figures too!

Now I’m a bit late to jump on the Shakugan No Shana bandwagon. I kept meaning to watch the series but i would watch the first episode then skip to something else and i just kept putting it off. Now i used to have a rule that said i can only buy figures from series I’ve seen and of characters i love. That rule went out the window a long time ago but when i did have this rule if i saw a figure i really liked i would research the show that it was from and watch it. If i truly liked that show then i would go buy the figure and thats what i did with Shana.

I first saw this figure on Tea Shop Beloved when Deftoned Reviewed her. I was instantly in love. I wanted her so badly but then as luck would have it right before i decided to finish watching Shana she was out of stock EVERYWHERE!

I decided to still watch Shana and i loved the series. But all it did was make me want this figure more and more.

I did find a few on ebay but from Hong Kong sellers and that usually is a red flag of a bootleg. So i kinda just gave up on finding her.

I later thought that i should wait till Anime Expo ‘08 to see if i can find her. I have had some awesome luck in finding rare/hard to find figures there.

Luck would have it, right when i walked into the exhibit hall i headed straight to Kid Nemo since John said he’d like to meet me in person.

i get to the booth and who do they have sitting right there on a lower shelf but Shana herself. I just grabbed her and walked up to the first person i saw and said i’ll take this.

I really didn’t care how much she would have cost me nor did i bother to look in other booths to see if i could find a better deal (which i almost ALWAYS do.) She cost me $50 which isn’t bad since she would have cost me more online.

I was so happy to finally get my hands on Shana! She really is an amazing figure. Looking at her now she’s a bit shorter than most of my 1/8 figures. btu then of course Shana’s Character is short so thats fine.

I love how you can compare the image they based the design off. You can really see the detail they put into a figure when you can compare it like this. You can see how they matched her hair so perfectly, the strands match up so perfectly! Even the folds in her skirt match up!

Max Factory once again has made an amazing figure. I think the thing i love the most is her hair, It’s so well done! No hiccups in the paint and the detail is just amazing. There is a noticeable seam line on her right side but it can be overlooked since overall this figure kicks ass.
