Our apartment – 2016 NSFW

It's been not only a long time since I've posted here, but it has been a long time since I shared photos of my place. The last time you guys saw where I lived I was still living at home with my parents. It was back in 2012, so easily 4 years ago you saw my collection. Now you can see not only has my… [more]

[Alter] – Melty Review

So since I've moved into my new apartment I still hadn't set up my photography studio. Seems work has me busier than I thought I would ever be, however I took some time this past weekend to set up my studio so I could take some photos of my latest purchase, Alter's 1/8th Melty from Shining Hearts. Now… [more]

[Orchid Seed] – Yuki Review NSFW

Pre-ordered this figure the moment she was released for pre-order. I needed for for multiple reasons, she's sexy/half naked, plus while she's not Sora she reminds me of Sora from Yosuga no Sora! But she's Yuki from Maid Yome and she's pretty amazing. The only issue is her adorable mouth really looks… [more]

Nendoroid Storage Container

I recently went on a trip to a magical place, The Container Store. Ok it's not really magical, but I happen to have discovered a love for organizing my home. I tend to prefer Ikea and Daiso but we went to The Container Store on a whim and I discovered this lovely storage container! I've been needing… [more]

Halloween Decorations!

Not only decorated my site, as you can obviously see! but i also decorated my lovely house! I always decorated my house for the holidays, ok well more like just the two major holidays. Halloween and Christmas. I love Halloween since i love to dress up and i love handing out candy. When i was a kid i looked forward to Halloween since trick-o-treating was like the highlight of my year!

Get it? a play on words from best wishes!

The witches are out, go it’s a girls night out!

My cute kitty candle holder thingy

You can see our lovely Obama sign on my front door, Proud Obama supporting family (i was at first afraid to show this but I’m gonna go for it since we are so close to election day.)

I just say that even thought i have my sign here on my site doesn’t mean i feel like discussing politics on my site. How A Girl Figures is my figure site, you wanna talk politics we can get on msn but not here please.

Me and my mom have a hard time growing real flowers on the front porch since no sun hits it directly so we put fake flowers and we switch them out each season. Now it’s fall type flowers with my little Halloween bear hiding inside.

On this flower pot we’ve got the Halloween kitty inside.

We used to have a nice wreath that was very fall like but we have had problems in the past of birds nesting in it so i didn’t want it to get damaged and replaced it with this wind chime.

My Cobwebs and blood spattered wall.

It’ll look badass at night on Halloween all lit up but to save on electricity for now nothing is plugged in until Halloween night. I’m also going to make that day a scarecrow out of my dad’s clothes! I’m so excited to hand out candies, unless i get invited to a Halloween party, but i doubt it. My social life in down the drain atm and the friends i do have are most likely going to be working so i think it’ll be a nice day to stay at home, dress up and scare the kiddies! Now i know that Trick-o-treating is more of an American thing, but do you guys celebrate it in other countries? And how? What are your plans for Oct. 31st? Partying or staying home like me?

    Ah witches…Soul Eater is required. Nicely done up I guess, we hardly celebrate Halloween here (got quite a few other festivals throughout the year culturally, which is why).

    Obama FTW.

    oh we don’t get festivals at all, and if we do they are usually really crappy.

    OBAMA 2008!

    Californians, vote NO on Proposition 8!

    😀

    Wow, I didn’t knew Halloween is taken this serious. We do not celebrate/ have Halloween at the Netherlands, though there are a few kids who do trick or treat it’s nothing compared to that. We would be surprised if anyone bothers to crave a pumpkin >.>.
    And you did all this! Wow, nice scenery. You love Halloween that much?

    It really doesn’t need saying, but those are lovely decorations, I particularly adore the spiderwebs.

    Also, I know this isn’t really the place to discuss politics, but just know that we Australians are also in full support of an Obama presidency ^^

    @Rin:
    oh hell i went door to door until my junior year of high school. sadly i was in trouble my senior year and wasn’t allowed out that night :'(

    @Hirvine:
    well we don’t carve pumpkins either, (at least in my house) since no one here eats pumpkin and it would be a waste of food. But the decorations i always did since i just like decorating the house.

    @Snark:
    yeah the spiderwebs are fun but a pain to remove afterward. and most people outside of the Us prefer Obama, I’ve got plenty of family outside of the Us Mexico, Argentina, Spain, France and they all say how their country is really supporting obama as well

  11. MrJack says:

    I come from Germany and here or atleast in my town Halloweens is not that serious, well but we still have candy in stock just in case but mostly we end up giving a lot of it to a few kids and then I can eat the rest which is alot aswell :D.

    For the kids here its a day they can dress up and for the Teenagers it is just another day to have a good time and get drunk.

  12. Vanessa says:

    @Panther: An alternate title for Soul Eater should be “Halloween: the anime”.

    And I thought I loved Halloween! Really, I do, but the decorations look awesome. The “Girls Night Out” sign is cute :).

  13. Dancing Queen says:

    @MrJack:
    any holiday is a time for teens to get drunk now-a-days

    @Vanessa:
    yeah her scarf broke off but Crazy glue came and saved the day for me!

  14. Mini says:

    I really like the cob webs and the spattered blood ^-^. But you want to know something scary I heard on the news sometime ago like maby a few Halloweens ago a guy hung himself on a tree in front of his house and no one said anything. They thought it was a Halloween decoration. O.O

  15. I love how Halloween-y your house looks. Your post makes me feel as if I should try decorating my house again; I haven’t done so in years. ^^
    And your current site layout is so cute!

    Wah! Halloween is in a week and my house looks so boring! I love how you decorated yours! For Halloween this year, my friends and I are just going to dress up in costumes and go see some horror movies in theaters. Hope you have fun giving out candy!

    @Coco the Bean:
    thanks about the layout, i worked hard on making it all match and finding the right header as well. found lots of Halloween themed images but none that were just cute enough for me.

    @lostty:
    oh i can’t see scary movies, i get so scared and then get paranoid and have nightmares.

    love the halloween decorations!! and yes we need that change!! go obama!

  19. Caitlin says:

    Would you mind if I added your pictures to my (printed) collection? We keep a box of holiday photos at work because the schools sometimes ask for presentations/information boards on the various holidays. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of Halloween pictures because it’s not my favorite holiday. ^^;

  20. Dancing Queen says:

    @Sarah:
    we don’t need 4 more years of the same thing!
