Seth Green and The Robot Chicken Crew Make My Night

In case you haven’t heard the news on my twitter, I got Seth Green and the guys from Robot Chicken to help me rub it in on my boyfriend that he ditched me and instead of Going to Long Beach Comic Con he went to hang out with some old friends. I had tickets for him but he had plans with his friends instead. So I decided that I’ll rub it in as much as possible on what a great con he was missing out on! Best way to do this? Get Seth Green to talk to him personally about it!

This really made my day, not only was their panel really funny but they were all really nice with everyone. Here i am with the rest of the Robot Chicken crew that i could wrangle for this last picture.

Also my personalized signed badge by Seth Green, It’s obvious to see what is says and hopefully he’s right! Also quick tidbit, Seth Green ended up helping getting my boyfriend down to Comic Con since he ended up coming for Sunday! So my plan worked! Muwhahahaha!

oh man there was a lady who called him Mr. Green at the panel and me and my all friends immediately thought of Clue

    Seth Green is the Man!

  3. DJ Tama says:

Well, I hope you make a full post with both my videos when the full panel is finally loaded. (4GB… ouch)

  6. Your BF kind of got owned there xD

Wow… “What an odd response given the circumstances…” LOL!

Your BF took it pretty well. I’d love it if Samuel L. Jackson called me to tell me off. LOL. Your really lucky to get a personal picture with Seth Green. I went to his panel at AX, but so many ppl, too little time. I guess the smaller cons like this comicon is the way to go.

    • Dancing Queen says:

well this was at the press core panel so it was much smaller and much more personal, plus i’d cry if Samuel L. Jackson yelled at me, but then i respect him so much as an actor i’d just wonder what i did to deserve him yelling at me

LMAO – way to get him jealous!

  12. IcedTeaQueen says:

lol! That’s pretty awesome! Too bad your bf bailed out on you that day 🙁

    • Dancing Queen says:

well he had made plans for hanging out with his friends a long time ago and Comic Con was a last minute idea we all had, but it worked out in the end to get him to come see me!

  13. Eri says:

I’m glad your plan worked and he ended up showing up on the last day! Nice one! ^^

    • Dancing Queen says:

he did come down but regretted not coming down saturday still but we had a blast on sunday as well anyways

I think the only way I could get my bf to regret ditching me at a con would be if anyone associated with One Piece or Tengen Toppa was there. I’m still trying to get him interested in Anime Boston, maybe next year.

I got told off by Germaine Greer, famous Australian feminist, even though I DID attend her lecture. Merely because I asked why there wasn’t a male equivalent to The Female Eunuch in terms of gender studies.

I have also met both Terry Pratchett AND Neil Gaiman, I have a copy of Good Omens signed by both of them.

Shame the dude I would really want to have met died the year before I was born. Poor Tezuka. Oh well, I still have time to meet Martin Sharp, the Australian hippie artist. And Adam Elliot is still alive too.

Your boyfriend is probably now hating himself. Knowing me, if I ever get a girlfriend she will be jealous even before I meet her because I got advice about insomnia from Neil Gaiman, the Dream King himself.

    epic lol!

I was down there as a last minute thing on Saturday (I saw Organic was gonna be there, lol) and it was pretty cool. Waaaay smaller than Comic Con, which is great b/c SDCC is so huge now. But they still managed to get some crazy guests, especially the super-reclusive Berk Breathed! And it was his first con! I love that they also had a wrestling ring in the back by Al Snow’s table, lol. Very cool vibe and definitely glad I went. Even managed to pick up my first FREEing bunny (Emiri from Haruhi Suzumiya)!

    • Dancing Queen says:

i didn’t know we were allowed to get into the ring until after they took it down, i would have loved to have gone inside and play-fought with someone

      • agcpictures says:

no wai! that’s crazy.. no fear of potential lawsuits?! i checked out a few rounds and then i had to go ’round and finalize my purchases.. one day i will do like you and danny and do some snappysnaps and writeups on my plastics..

        • Dancing Queen says:

btw how is the freeing bunny? I’m always tempted to get one but fear that i’ll need the entire set once i get one… It’s a slippery slope

  17. Flip says:

been super busy, so haven’t had time to check the sites I normally do, saw the vid when you posted it on twitter, but the rest is just too awesome. I am envious.

  18. yeaboie says:

haha, way to be dancing queen!

  19. agcpictures says:

guess you can’t nest too many replies here..

To answer your question, yes it’s a slippery slope! I have the same temptation, since I tend to be completist (go for full sets) in my collecting. In spite of the very visible joint in her leg, Emiri’s very well made. I would’ve preferred getting Yuki or Tsuruya or even Ryoko first, but since these are all becoming increasingly harder to find, I decided to go for it. At $90, it was a pretty spendy impulse buy, but I like to remind myself it was a good deal… 🙂

    Going to PMX?

    • Dancing Queen says:

I know i want Ryoko the most, even if she wasn’t my favorite character, only cause her pose is just oozing of sex! I was gonna go to PMX but am instead going to mexico for the week since my cousin is having her baby this Saturday! My next planned con is ALA ’10

      • agcpictures says:

congrats to your cousin! so you’re in mexico now? the wonders of the interwebs..

yeah, ryoko isn’t my fave either (that’d be yuki) but she is smexy.. very hard to find at a reasonable price now..

never been to ala.. might do it this time.. i think i’ve seen vids of your panel last year on the youtubes..

        • Dancing Queen says:

thanks! yep in mexico stealing my cousin’s computer while he’s at work! left my laptop at home sicne A.) it sucks B.) no wireless, only modem hooked up to the computer…

I like Yuki but she seems a little on the tall side, but then she’s the only on standing of the bunch.

ALA is prety fun but also a very small con, it’s a good place to hang out with people and meet new interesting people while you’re at it
