A non anime related post for now, bare with me because i’m just so excited I had to share this with you all! I like most people lately just LOVE Lady Gaga, love her music, I think her style is intriguing and just so interesting and fresh! She had a stop over for her concert in La but tickets sold out so fast I was so sad, but with the boyfriend living in Seattle now I figured getting tickets for the show in Washington wasn’t a stretch! I got two tickets for us and I’m super excited to go! What are your feelings on Gaga? It seems most people are torn, they either love her or hate her! I obviously Love her but then along with my figure reviews I love hearing what you have to say as well! Also if you are fan what is your favorite song? Lately I’ve been loving Telephone and Speechless!

love summerboy! I like Just Dance but it got so overplayed like Pokerface so I’ve kinda out grown them
I don’t like her but I don’t hate her either, haven’t heard much besides telephone and maybe like 1 other song. I tend to listen to stuff that isn’t really radio friendly but more underground and indie stuff. Lately I’ve just been jamming to a whole lot of Nujabes and another gem called Mr.Gnome. But I do hope you have fun as shows are usually a great time.
she’s actually the only thing that’s “Mainstream” that i’ve listened to in a really love time, i tend to like more j-pop and Japanese music

I hear it’s a great experience! And my favorite song of hers would probably be either Paparazzi, Bad Romance, or Disco Heaven. 
But I like the majority of them <3

And, you know, I respect her as an artist of course but I don’t really like her (though some of my friends and my young brother are singing her songs very often) but I think she has talent, in fact, I can accept any female artist but Shakira cause I can’t stand her at all and to put it in simple words I do hate her ¬¬.
But if we talk about anglo singers my favorite will always my beloved Kylie, I just love her ^_________^.

I’m ok with her, but I don’t listen to that many of her songs. It’s cool that you got tickets to see her! I live close to Seattle as well.

I’m personally, not a fan of Lady Gaga. My girlfriend is pretty much obsessed with her. I appreciate her music to an extent, but its just too pop for me, I listen mainly obscure music, and while I don’t just write off pop music simply because it’s popular (I do give it a chance, I’m not that elitist or close minded) it just isn’t my thing. And I’ve listened to enough Lady Gaga to form an opinion, I’m not just saying I don’t like her without actually listening to her music. I do appreciate her acoustic stuff, she is very talented, but her albums are just too produced.
Also, I have no problem with her image, she’s great that she just does what she wants and her crazy image really makes her stand out, but also lets her be free to be herself.
On a related note, I have tickets to an upcoming concert of my favorite band (Dream Theater) that I am very excited about. Dream Theater and Iron Maiden at Madison Square Garden NYC on July 12th. And two days before the show, I get to see Dream Theater in an intimate club setting (The Palladium in Worcester, MA), in the town I currently live in. This will be my… 6th and 7th time seeing them? Or maybe its 7th and 8th now. I’ve lost count. Anyways, its always great to see a band or performer you really love, and I’m a musician myself (I play guitar) so I enjoy music greatly.

I don’t listen to a lot of modern pop so I’m one of the few people on the planet that hasn’t heard a single Lady Gaga song. So…I’m indifferent towards her. It’s fun to look at her ridiculous costumes, I suppose.
i bet somehow you’ve heard a song of hers, they do play them everywhere, but either way she does have a good way of getting attention from people with her outfits
Well… though I honestly didnt listen much of Western music due to my tendency over to J-pop or anime/game related songs
I have listened to several of her song and I have to say she is a good singer.
As far as love or hate her, I’ll go the middle way and I see her as a talented artist and singer.
Her sense of fashion however ahem… is outrageous and very daring haha…

I’ve liked Lady Gaga since I heard “Love Game,” which I played on loop while I was playing Plants versus Zombies for a while.
Then I saw the video for Telephone, and I was blown away (another song I’ve been playing on loop, in this case while playing Etherlords).
A lot of people don’t want to acknowledge this but she’s a bona fide genius who does really interesting things with music and fashion. I’ll be honest, I think some people are haters because they see that level of talent and they get jealous.
You should get the new issue Rolling Stone (I have a subscription) she’s on the cover and has an interview inside.
