It's been not only a long time since I've posted here, but it has been a long time since I shared photos of my place. The last time you guys saw where I lived I was still living at home with my parents. It was back in 2012, so easily 4 years ago you saw my collection. Now you can see not only has my… [more]
So since I've moved into my new apartment I still hadn't set up my photography studio. Seems work has me busier than I thought I would ever be, however I took some time this past weekend to set up my studio so I could take some photos of my latest purchase, Alter's 1/8th Melty from Shining Hearts. Now… [more]
Pre-ordered this figure the moment she was released for pre-order. I needed for for multiple reasons, she's sexy/half naked, plus while she's not Sora she reminds me of Sora from Yosuga no Sora! But she's Yuki from Maid Yome and she's pretty amazing. The only issue is her adorable mouth really looks… [more]
I recently went on a trip to a magical place, The Container Store. Ok it's not really magical, but I happen to have discovered a love for organizing my home. I tend to prefer Ikea and Daiso but we went to The Container Store on a whim and I discovered this lovely storage container! I've been needing… [more]
So lately I’ve been neglecting you all, I’m a terrible person! I know I know! I’m SO SORRY! But you know I adore you! Well if you don’t follow me on twitter, which you totally should be doing already! You wouldn’t know how lately I’ve been doing some awesome things to totally waste my time. Yes, I should be doing more figure reviews for you all, or even getting a job… But instead I’ve been being lazy and having fun!
So first huge time waster has been Hulu. Now Hulu is already awesome for me since I don’t have a TV in my room, If i want to watch TV I have to go downstairs to the family room and watch TV and that’s obviously too much of a hassle (hehe sarcasm) so i just never watch TV. But with Hulu, I can watch some of my favorite shows on the computer! Yay! What i recently discovered which is pretty snazzy is they now have dramas on there. Like Korean Dramas! I think they have J-drama’s too but i haven’t really researched it at all…
Either way, been watching Personal Taste which is actually pretty interesting, about 8 episodes in and have just been marathoning it lately. It’s not really the best show and I’m waiting for it to get really juicy and such but I have been enjoying myself watching this show. The issue is with Korean drama is that when I watch Anime or J-Drama I kind of have an ear for Japanese so I can just scan the subs and know what’s going on. But with Korean Dramas i have to really pay attention to the subtitles or I’ll be completely lost to the actual story that’s going on. After I’m through with there are a few anime on Hulu i want to catch so I’ll most likely be watching those, but any recommendations of Dramas on Hulu that i should catch? Mind you I’m a drama noob, I’ve seen maybe 3 J-dramas and this is my first Korean Drama so ease me in!
Next is Red Dead Redemption, since this game came out I’ve been wanting it so badly! But being broke I had to wait, and wait and wait some more. Finally got a care package from the boyfriend up in Seattle with tons of swag from PAX and he included in it Red Dead Redemption for me, he’s so the best! Since I got the game I’ve been pretty much playing non-stop and boy do i adore this game! Shooting bad guys, helping damsels in distress or shooting them when the bitches try and steal my horse. It’s so much fun! I’ve never had this much fun playing a game before! My main issue with games especially ones with huge opens maps is i get either lost, stuck or just can’t figure out how to get my next mission. With Red Dead its been pretty easy finding out what i need to do next, where I need to go and how to help the good guys and shoot bad guys. Now for this first time playing the game I’m being the good guy and helping out the good guys as much as I can to build my Honor and fame points. Maybe next time i play through I’ll be a badass outlaw who kills anyone who stands in their way! Muwhahahahaha! Well that’s pretty much it for updates on my end. I’m not yet playing on multiplayer but i will jump on soon enough, if you want to play with me my gamertag is DancingQueenDQ on of course the Xbox 360 I’ve got! Join me and we’ll kill some bad guys, oh and tons of animals too!
Also don’t forget to catch me on AX Live! Every Wednesday at 7pm PST! We’re giving away 1 free 4day pass to Anime Expo every week so you really won’t want to miss out!! Plus surprise figure giveaways from time to time!
it’s ok, we still love you
Minami Shineyo a.k.a He’s Beautiful (or You’re Beautiful) is THE BEST K-DRAMA EVER! Mmmm, Jang Geun Suk……like Drake says, you can ‘Thank.Me.Later’ LOL.
Hey, sometimes it’s just important to slow down once in a while in life and make time for one’s self.
And who doesn’t like a good game session or catching up on shows marathon?
But I dont have a 360 and can’t join you 🙁
Keep doing what you like. And ‘couse it’s doramas I approve! xD I’ve no idea what’s on Hulu but if you can get your hands on “Castaway on the Moon” I would strongly suggest that one. It’s probably one of my fav movies (internationally). As for Red Dead Redemption, I just have to pick it up but can’t really. >.< Will have to figure out a way to get me some money. :3
What about reach? Care for that, also.
Just caught AX-Live- funny show!
While everything’s ok with you, fine.
Besides, by reading your tweets and this article it’s obvious that you’re havin’ fun so, keep it going and take care of yourself.
Best wishes!
I use Hulu, but I use Crunchyroll more. They have tons of dramas on there, but I go there for the anime (I have an anime membership there). We don’t even get cable at my apartment because we just stream all our TV online. Also have Netflix streaming.
I’ve been a bit MIA myslef this past month. I’m distracted by Work, and in my free time lately I’ve been watching lots of TV Shows. It’s odd I’m suddenly watching so much TV. I went at least 7 years without being interested in TV Shows outside anime. But recently I’ve realized there are a fair amount of worthwhile shows I’ve been missing out on.
