Our apartment – 2016 NSFW

It's been not only a long time since I've posted here, but it has been a long time since I shared photos of my place. The last time you guys saw where I lived I was still living at home with my parents. It was back in 2012, so easily 4 years ago you saw my collection. Now you can see not only has my… [more]

[Alter] – Melty Review

So since I've moved into my new apartment I still hadn't set up my photography studio. Seems work has me busier than I thought I would ever be, however I took some time this past weekend to set up my studio so I could take some photos of my latest purchase, Alter's 1/8th Melty from Shining Hearts. Now… [more]

[Orchid Seed] – Yuki Review NSFW

Pre-ordered this figure the moment she was released for pre-order. I needed for for multiple reasons, she's sexy/half naked, plus while she's not Sora she reminds me of Sora from Yosuga no Sora! But she's Yuki from Maid Yome and she's pretty amazing. The only issue is her adorable mouth really looks… [more]

Nendoroid Storage Container

I recently went on a trip to a magical place, The Container Store. Ok it's not really magical, but I happen to have discovered a love for organizing my home. I tend to prefer Ikea and Daiso but we went to The Container Store on a whim and I discovered this lovely storage container! I've been needing… [more]

Toylet! The Best Booth – Anime Expo ’09

So I’ve decided to do a new segment that I’ll be doing at all conventions I go to from now on! It’s the Best Booth Awards! The Best Booth Award go to the booth that I just can’t stop going to, the booths that has overall the best selection in new and interesting merchandise, the booth that has some of the best prices and the booth that has some of the best customer service and knowledge of the items they are selling. This year’s award goes to Toylet.net and their amazing booth they had at Anime Expo.

Some amazing Queen’s Blades figures, oh dang, just noticed they had the Alter Nankyoku Sakura! Must have slipped my gaze, boy I’d love that figure! I’m now so mad at myself that I didn’t pick her up!

Also some awesome prices as well, $30 for that gun x Sword figure is not a bad price at all!

Queen’s Gate Booster Version, should have picked her up as well, but ran out of money by the time i saw her on the last day.

Really awesome selection of Figmas, they had the best Figma and Nendoroid selection at the Anime Expo.

Also tons of Touhou goodies, my brother had a field day once he saw all this merchandise.

More awesome figures, Kotobukiya Nagi, Mao, Blanc Neige, Alter Chou’un Shiryuu I really need to plan better and have more money for next year!

Some amazing keychains, i got all the keychains that I posted earlier from this booth!

Also got my Mug, cups and Towel from Toylet. I think i’m gonna have to work on more merchandise that isn’t figures to stock up things around my house. Also got my Yoko hair Clip and the Pin here.

Should have also gotten the Yoko Pillow Cover, that would have been another awesome thing to get! Or at least the Aria Sachou Mug!

More Plushies and more figures!

More Figures, it was so hard not to have the desire to walk away buying the entire booth, but then i wouldn’t hasve had the money for it :'(

Spoted Eye up Yoko, up Up-lark as they are called now.

White Domo-kun, very cute.

Don’t really recognize any figures from here, but it’s to give you an idea how they were so fully stocked of so much Otaku Merchandise.

The Prized Yoko Towel she was far too hard to pass up!

Freeing Mikuru! Shouldn’t have passed her up as well.

The Toylet Booth gets my vote for so many reasons, The biggest reason would be that i stopped by the booth multiple times a day. I also had so many people stopping me thoughout the day when I was carrying my merchandise asking me where i got this or that, I kept directing them right back to the Toylet Booth or even taking them there myself. Most other booths had some of the same old figures for way over market value. Toylet had some of the best prices and even when my dear friend Benu was looking everywhere for any Hinagiku Merchandise and couldn’t find any anywhere we found a Hinagiku mug at Toylet.

Congratulations Toylet for having the Best Booth at Anime Expo, keep up the great work!

Stay Tuned for the Best Booth Award for Comic Con!

I was on a budget this year, but I passed by their booth many times to look and ended up getting a Saber figure for $35 on the last day after the hall had closed, looking for the last thing I could get.

Anyways, thanks for the panel it was fun! I hope you get to do it next year or at other SoCal cons :).

  3. Hello says:

What about Toyslogic’s booth? Their booth has the about the same price as Toylet’s.

    • Dancing Queen says:

price wise they were good, but they didn’t have the selection that kept me coming back like Toylet’s booth

I would have probably snatched up the Etrian Odyssey Paladdin, I haven’t seen her for sale in forever! I have that Alter Nadie but I’m glad to see her on sale there, I haven’t seen her for sale in a while either.

Although I bet the adult Alice probably generated a lot of interest, she is pretty highly wanted.

I would really like to go to a convention with so many stands but Ihave a really good excuse I’m very far (PerΓΊ) and here u can really see overpriced figures so most of them I bought from International retailers. Ibegan collecting mostly a year ago and this is my collection

    • Dancing Queen says:

well thanks, it’s awesome to go to these conventions and see these amazing booths that have everything you could ever really want

  6. IcyStorm says:

Toylet? I think you misspelled “Hen Da Ne!” and put up the wrong pictures and wrote the wrong information.

  7. there is just SO much stuff there!

Bah, Toylet use to be located 7 minutes away from me before it moved. But I wasn’t into collecting at the time. T_T

Their prices for the figmas were 5 dollars more than other booths.

  11. Punynari says:

Dang, you weren’t kidding about good selection. Especially shocked at the selection of Touhou items. Few stores in even Akihabara had that many Touhou items.

  12. fangzhao says:

aka “The only booth that had any kind of non-ero merchandise with Mikoto on it. And it was an $80 towel.”

Toylet’s booth was much more expensive than a few of the other booths that I visited, so I didn’t buy much there.

  13. katie says:

WOW. I live in the UK and I doubt I would ever see anything like this over here! Such pretty stuffs.

Did they have the Kaito nendoroid by any chance? I’m just wondering because I CANNOT find him anywhere! T.T Out of all the Vocaloid nendo’s so far, I want him the most.

  14. Rayearthblue says:

agreed, they had the best booth by far at Otakon. got my Nendoroid yoko there.

  15. ImperioMoe says:

OMG that was amazing!!! Last weekend was the Anual Anime convention here in my city I really wish to see a Booth as good as this (with half of that stuff should be enough). Nothing good here just tons of bootlegs and crappy merchandise T_T.

    • Dancing Queen says:

i hate booths with Bootlegs, i report them to con staff when i see them. Most cons have a no tolerance policy and if you let them know they are bootleg they’ll kick them out

  16. agcpictures says:

I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from Toylet, unfortunately. They had a good (great) selection but I didn’t think the prices were exceptional. My fave booth this year was Organic at Crunchyroll. Not as big a selection, but Fraulein Revoltechs for $10 and Witchblade statues for $20! Picked up a set of two Umisho statues for $40 (MSRP 6800 Yen… each!) and the Ana Coppola (Ichigo Mashimaro) big fig for $50! The staff was super nice and gave me bunches of free stuff, too. I think they were clearing out old stock, but those Umisho statues are relatively recent releases. Hope they’re there again next year! (lol, that’s 2 of 2 comments I wrote that refer to Organic… people are going to start thinking I’m a shill…)

  17. Toylet is 3rd. :p

I thought nothing beat the MangaGamers booth (18+) and a booth called Anime Sekai had merchandise that Toylet doesn’t have.

  18. Vosag says:

Wow…. visiting a store like that is my drem :O Absolutely stunning πŸ˜€
